How much smaller will my JPEG get?
Typically 40-70% smaller at the Medium level with hardly any visible difference. Photos straight from a phone shrink the most; images that were already compressed shrink less.
Can I choose the exact file size?
Yes. Pick Target file size and choose 100 KB, 200 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB or 2 MB. We lower the quality first and only then the pixel size, so you keep as much detail as possible.
Do you keep the photo's location data?
No. Location, camera model and other EXIF details are removed from the compressed copy, which also makes the file a little smaller.
